How to Attract Positive Things Into Your Life

If you’re anything like most people, you’re wondering how you can start attracting good things into your life. When is your life going to turn around? When is all the chaos going to settle? When will you be able to relax?

Maybe it just doesn’t seem possible because you’re stuck in a job you hate or surrounded by people who are sucking every ounce of positivity from within you.

How can you get away from the crappy job or the negative people so you can start living your dream life?

You may think that it is impossible, but that is simply not true. You *can* start attracting good, positive things into your life right now…and with just a few steps.

No doubt you have heard the expression, “you attract more of what you focus on.” There is so much truth to that. And it’s how manifestation works.

You see, the universe wants to give you more of what you focus on. And it doesn’t understand emotions. It doesn’t have a clue about sarcasm or complaints. It just hears that you are constantly talking about things and it gives you more of those things.

So, while you’re in the throes of rage or an emotional breakdown because the universe keeps giving you all the things you absolutely do not want, how do you break the cycle?

Want the answer clear-cut and dry? All right. Here it is: focus on gratitude.

Did I just hear a groan? Anyone? No?

The answer is so simple. But I’m not gonna lie. The implementation isn’t always easy (and please read that as: as easy or as hard as we make it).

Why do we always have to make things harder than they need to be? It’s just human nature. Because if things were easy, we wouldn’t truly and wholeheartedly appreciate them, right?

When we focus on gratitude, being grateful for the things we have, the universe will yield more things we can be grateful for. When we focus on things that make us happy, the universe will award us more things that make us happy. Like breeds like, whether it is good, bad, or indifferent.

So, what’s the next step, you’re wondering?

Focus on the journey.

But just about any journey will be met with some form of opposition. Well, unless you’re heading straight to hell. No such opposition stands in the way then. Am I right?

Unfunny jokes aside, we’re all on our own journey. And we’re dragging baggage along with us. That means that things will pop up to interfere with our dream life. There will be resistance, frustrations, challenges, urges to compare our successful with that of other people, and a whole slew of other issues.

While we’re on the journey, we have to stay the course. We have to keep focusing on gratitude. We have to keep focusing on positive things, like happiness and emotional well-being.

I have one more step which will make the first two steps much easier. And that is EFT/Tapping.

Before I lose you because you’re thinking, ‘no way am I going to start tapping on my face,’ hear me out.

EFT, which stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques and is also known as Tapping, is a healing modality similar to acupuncture. Our body is made up of energy, and when we store bad experiences and negative emotions inside us, that energy gets stuck and prevents the flow of good things. It also allows more bad things to sprout.

Do you ever feel a heaviness inside your chest or stomach? Or a heavy weight on your shoulders? That is likely stored stress. When you release that, you are able to feel more relaxed. (For obvious reasons, please consult with a physician if you feel you may have a medical condition.)

The benefit to EFT is that it brings negative emotions to the surface, gives them a voice so to speak, and allows their control over us to go away. Then instead of living in fear because we’re worried something bad will happen because we’re used to bad things happening because they happened in the past, we’re able to fulfill our true desires. We’re not acting out of fear anymore, but out of wonder.

Tapping, whether self-guided or with an instructor, is a hugely effective tool in releasing any stuck emotions, also called subconscious emotional blockages. And working with an EFT practitioner can make it even more effective.

Follow these three steps and you’ll be well on your way to attracting positive things into your life!
