Quick Tips to Tackle Goal-Related Anxiety & Overwhelm

How are you keeping track of your progress this year? Are you writing in a planner? Do you use a bullet journal? Are you making to-do lists for yourself? Are you even keeping track?

If we want to accomplish big goals in 2021 (or any year, for that matter), we must make a list of tasks to help ourselves get there. Being openminded to opportunities, sitting down and doing the work, these are all activities that will help us reach our goals.

We can use the law of attraction to create our new reality, but we also need to be putting in some work. If you are asking God or the universe for inspiration, what are you going to do with it? How are you going to carry it out?

Let’s say you want to increase your income this year. Are you open to following the inspiration and seeing where it takes you by carrying out the ideas? For instance, if you have an idea or an urge to use TikTok to grow your business, are you learning how to use it and posting short videos there?

If you need to increase your exposure and you’re getting ideas (downloads from the universe) on how to do that, are you doing the work? Are you putting in the time, even if it’s just for ten or fifteen minutes a day?

A great way to keep track of daily tasks is with a daily planner or bullet journal. There are lots of different ways to design them, so find one that works for you, and then use the heck out of it. Plan ahead and write out your tasks for the next day. And then do them! This process will improve your productivity and help give you a sense of direction each working day.

When you’re starting out small, the vast amount of tasks you feel you need to do can get overwhelming, so break it down and focus on moving forward every day no matter what. Overwhelm won’t help us, but steady progress will.
